Iran agriculture sector registers 5.6% economic growth

Tehran – The Iranian Minister of Agriculture announced a significant 5.6 percentage point economic growth in the nation's agricultural sector for the Iranian calendar year 1403, which concluded in March 2025.

In a statement posted on X, Gholamreza Nouri credited this achievement to the "valuable efforts of all agricultural sector activists, diligent rural communities, and nomads."

He added that this positive trend is anticipated to persist into the year 1404, largely due to the dedication of agricultural managers and the backing of the government.
